Vashon Island Winery

Vashon Winery is a tiny “garagiste” winery producing less than 600 cases of wine annually. Garagiste is a moniker used in Bordeaux, France to describe garage-size wineries who make exceptional wines without owning their own vineyards.

Vashon Winery harvested organically grown  grapes on Vashon to create Ron’s Chasselas Doré

Ron also has a Cabernet Sauvignon,  Merlot, Anniversary Reserve Red,  Semillon, Vashon White and other wines  from grapes purchased in vineyards located in eastern Washington

Visiting times

Vashon Winery is open on Saturdays only, from April Fool’s Day to October from 2pm to 5pm. All of the wines are opened for tasting on that day. The winery is also open by appointment but there may not be any wines open to sample.

Vashon Winery is a fun place with great wine that is reasonably priced.

We are located just north of the town of Vashon, on Vashon Island, WA. Driving north on Vashon Island Highway SW from town, take a left turn (or go west) onto 156th Street (a Dead End) for about three blocks. The winery is on the left (or south side) and is in a red metal barn. From the north-end ferry, drive about 5 miles and turn right onto 156th Street (after the yellow warning sign that 156th Street is coming up).
