Education in the Vashon Ecology Environment

Vashon Green Map

The Green Mapping of Vashon Program is being lead by the Social Ecology Education Demonstration School, SEEDS, on Vashon.  The Vashon Green Map is a member of the Green Map System.. The Green Map System uses a set of universally recognized icons and is now active in 475 cities, villages and neighborhoods in 54 countries.

SEEDS invited citizen participation in nominating current ecological and culturally significant resources on Vashon, as well as green sites or projects participants would like to see in the future.

 

Sustainable Tourism on Vashon  Volunteer Speakers Bureau will offer outreach programs with SEEDS that provides educational material, generate public input and involvement about the Green Mapping of Vashon Island
