Your heritage tour will experience the places, artifacts and activities that authentically represent our stories and people of Vashon-Maury Island's past and present.

Pt. Robinson Lighthouse: Enjoy a nice walk around the lighthouse and park.  The property conserves an extensive sandy beach shoreline that wraps around the point, a saltwater marsh, and upland woodlands. Walking trails and a few picnic tables have been developed along the scenic shoreline providing dramatic views of East Passage, Tacoma, Mount Rainier, and through the upper wooded slopes. For a guided tour inside the lighthouse, please visit the Pt. Robinson Lighthouse on Sunday afternoons during the summer from 12:00 - 4:00pm

The Vashon Island Coffee Roasterie
TVICR is located in (nearly 100-year old) building constructed in 1914 from now-extinct old growth island fir. The building is also home to specialty coffee and fair trade pioneer Jim Stewart’s original coffee company, The Wet Whisker, which eventually became the home of  Seattle’s Best Coffee.

We invite you to visit us and, if you have time, please call ahead for roasting times or to

schedule a tour and cupping for you, your friends and family. This fun and informational event is very popular with Roasterie visitors from around the world.

The Hardware Store
The Hardware Store is the oldest commercial building on Vashon and has seen a lot of changes over the last 115 years. We are honored to be the current inhabitants of this historic building listed on the National Register of Historic Places. We have a beautiful Art Gallery and participate in the monthly First Friday Art Tour.

Point Robinson Lighthouse

Get a taste of the Island’s nautical past any Sunday - May 24th till fall, open 12:00 -4:00pm.

Narrated live by Pt. Robinson keepers, these tours are rich in Puget Sound history and lots of fun.
